Ongoing Research

As a part of one of the nation’s leading academic institutions, the physicians and specialists of The Joint Replacement Center of NYC are instrumental in the study and implementation of new directions in musculoskeletal procedures. Whether we are pioneering studies on extending implant longevity, studying ways to detect the early warning signs of arthritis, or evaluating the effects of pulmonary embolism during surgery, Center staff, who are actively involved in research affecting surgical procedures conducted worldwide, have contributed over 100 publications to the orthopaedic literature since 2003.
