Dr. Patrick Meere
Dr. Patrick Meere is Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. He is Chief of Service, Adult Reconstructive Surgery, and Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He obtained graduate degrees in Physics, Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery from McGill University in Montreal, and completed his Fellowship in Arthritis and Adult Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in 1993. His large volume practice deals exclusively with hip and knee replacement surgery: routine and challenging complex primary cases as well as revision (repeat) hip and knee replacements. In addition to his academic teaching responsibilities, Dr. Meere serves as expert consultant on multiple implant design teams and lectures nationally and internationally on minimally invasive surgery techniques, computer-assisted technology, alternate bearings (ceramic and metals) and other
