Dr. Justin LaMont

Dr. Justin LaMont is Chief of Orthopaedics, Tisch Hospital, NYU Medical Center, and an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon. His practice focuses on the treatment of disorders of the hip and knee, including both arthritic conditions and sports related injuries. Dr. LaMont uses the newer minimally invasive approaches for total joint replacement of the hip and knee and has been refining these procedures with the latest techniques and instrumentation. He also uses the latest comprehensive post-operative pain control program in conjunction with the Department of Anesthesia. In addition Dr. LaMont treats meniscal and ligament injuries of the knee and labral tears of the hip with arthroscopic techniques. He is therefore able to provide a spectrum of care for knee and hip problems. Dr. LaMont has participated on both local and national Orthopaedic committees and continues to pursue clinical research.
