Dr. Alan J. Dayan

Dr. Alan J. Dayan is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine and Medical Director of the Immediate Care facility at NYUHJD. In 1997 he completed a fellowship at The Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in Adult Reconstructive Surgery and then joined our faculty.  A large percentage of his practice focuses on hip and knee disorders.  Dr. Dayan utilizes the latest techniques in arthroscopic surgery of the knee as well as hip and knee replacement surgeries. Each hip and knee replacement is individualized as he utilizes a large array of implants including cemented implants, non-cemented implants, ceramic bearing surfaces, metal and polyethylene bearing surfaces, Titanium and Cobolt-Chromium implants, and instrumentation for primary, complex primary, and revision procedures.  He  runs one of our Adult Reconstrictive clinics.  Dr. Dayan has an easily accessible outpatient office in Brooklyn.
